Spartan UK is part of the Steel & Rolled Product Division of Metinvest Holding LLC, along with Trametal and Valsider of Italy. Together the three companies have more than 1 million tones of flat product capacity (quarto plates & coil) and are a major force in the European plate market.

Trametal

Trametals’ state of the art mill in San Giorgio di Nogara was built in 1995 and has seen major investment in recent years, making it one of the most modern re-rolling mills in Europe. Trametal “specializes in specialities” and can offer a vast range grades, supply conditions, dimensions and product certifications.

Valsider

Valsiders’ primary focus is on Structural Grades in either plate or coil.

The three mills operate under an integrated management structure and work together closely in all areas of the business including operations, capital investment, logistics, finance & commercial affairs.

Trametal, Valsider and Spartan are ISO 9001:2000 certified and manufacture in compliance with the main international standards, including EURONORM, ASTM, ASME, API, as well as CE, NF Acier, Ü Zeichen, TÜV, DM and PED quality certifications.

In addition, special certifications from the main shipping registers, including RINA, LR, DNV, GL, BV & ABS are available, as well as certified approvals from the leading industrial groups in petrochemical, offshore, yellow goods and wind turbine sectors.

Trametal, Valsider and Spartan offer a very wide range of grades suitable for application in numerous industrial sectors.

Structural grades, for use in buildings, bridges, yellow goods, industrial machinery, wind turbines and general construction. Boiler & Pressure Vessel steel, Special Grades capable of quenching & tempering, Shipbuilding and Offshore plate as well as steel for Pipe and Fittings manufacture.
